Lacey Doss and Frank Raburn Knight Jr. were married Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Greenwood. The Rev. Dr. Bill Duncan officiated the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Bobby L. Windham of Olive Branch, Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Ronald Doss of Clarksdale, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank R. Knight Sr. of Greenwood.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Jeff Byars, soloist; Anne Walker, organist; and Billy Taylor, sound technician.
The bride was given in married by her stepfather and father. She wore an original designed gown with a fitted embroidered bodice embellished with pearl and crystal beads and accented with a satin ribbon belt at the waistline. The strapless and ivory gown with satin and organza overlay extended into a chapel-length train. She also wore a chapel-length veil with a silver, pearl and crystal headpiece and carried a hand-tied bouquet of six long stemmed white calla lilies.
Matron of honor was Chasity Godwin of Jackson, Tenn., and maid of honor was Nicole Gilmer of Greenwood.
Bridesmaids were Renee Beckam of Minter City, Camilla Toney of Florence, Ala., sister of the bridegroom, Crystal Pernell of Greenwood.
Junior bridesmaids were Mary Haley Windham and Chelsey Windham, both of Olive Branch, Chrisa Doss and Brandi Doss, both of Clarksdale.
Flower girl was Katherine Anna Monty of Hattiesburg, cousin of the bride.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Ben Spinks of Clarksdale, Nicholas O'Neal, Curt Jones and Jason Pernell, all of Greenwood.
Ring bearer was Seth Davis of Jackson, Tenn.
A reception was held at Greenwood Country Club following the ceremony.
After a week-long cruise to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico, the couple resides in Meridian.
