44th carousel horse set to be unveiled

Hope Village for Children will unveil the 44th horse in the Around Town Carousels Abound public art project on Saturday in Newton County.
Sponsor and host for the unveiling will be the Hidden Springs Arabian Horse Farm in Newton. The program will begin at 10 a.m. with a tour of the barns and a hot dog cookout; the unveiling will take place at 1 p.m. with a performance by the Hidden Valley Arabian Horses to follow at 1:30 p.m.
The public is invited.
The newly placed horse will be christened "Hope Springs Eternal" and was painted by Newton artist Dottie Armstrong.
Hidden Springs Arabian Horse Farm has been the home of several national champion Arabian horses. It was founded in 1988 and is nationally recognized as a leader in training prize winners.
To get to Hidden Springs, take the Newton exit off Interstate 20. Take state Highway 15 South. Go south 2.2 miles and turn right on Wickware road. You will see the Hidden Springs signs.
