Elizabeth Ann Johnson of Brandon and Jason Edwin Weeks of Madison were married Saturday, April 26, 2003, at the home of the bride's parents with the Rev. Harry Tillery officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Edward McTyiere Johnson III of Philadelphia, and Mr. and Mrs. James Bobby Weeks of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Mildred Butler of Starkville and the late Horace Butler, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward McTyiere Johnson II.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Georgia Belle Ward of Ackerman and the late Edwin Ward, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alton Weeks.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Vincent Massimino, violinist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a couture gown of ivory silk satin featuring a hand embroidered and hand beaded bodice and sweep train.
Sallie McBryde Pennebaker of Oxford served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Jenney Diane Weeks of Meridian, sister of the bridegroom.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Charles Cooper Bevon of Madison, David Fernando Delgado of Olive Branch, Christopher Ross Tingle of Hattiesburg and Daniel Wesley Wildman of Meridian.
A reception was held in the home of the bride's parents following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple resides in Brandon.
