Arnett wins Run for Hope

Brian Arnett won the Run for Hope 10K Trail Run at Bonita Lakes on Saturday morning with an impressive time of 43:57, a full minute faster than second-place finisher Dan Ward.
Three other runners finished the race in less than 46 minutes. Neil Johnson was third with a 45:06, while Johnny Joiner posted a 45:35 and Dave Carr came in with a 45:59.
The top female finisher was Kristin Miller, who posted a time of 52:07 and finished 12th overall.
Two of the most impressive performances were turned in by runners on opposite ends of the age scale. Fifty-two year-old Jim Quick finished sixth overall with a time of 47:29, while 13-year-old Brandon McElroy was eighth with a 48:55.
No. 7 overall was Mann Conrad with a 47:4, while Jay Vining was ninth at 49:18 and Scott Dement finished 10th with a time of 49:22.
