Services for the Rev. Tony Burks will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Rev. Burks, 73, of Meridian, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired operator for the City of Meridian.
Survivors include his wife, Delphine Burks of Meridian; daughters, Dorothy Burks, Jeanette Betts and her husband, Zachariah, Carolyn Durr and her husband, John, and Jackie Smith and her husband, Larry; sons, Larry Burks and his wife, Mae, Cleveland Burks and his wife, Carolyn, Ray Charles Burks and Tony Burks Jr. and his wife, Tonda; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday noon-2 p.m. at the church.
UNION Services for Mary Ann Hatley will be held today at 11 a.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church in Little Rock with the Revs. Johnny Collins and Jimmy McDill officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hatley, 96, of Newton, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, at Bedford Care Center in Newton. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Juanita D. Butler and her husband, Bill; a son, Billy Wayne Dean and his wife, Sharon, all of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Patricia Collins and her husband, Johnny, of Neshoba, Phyllis Cain and her husband, Lomax, of Chunky, Paula Meaders and Charlene Thrash, both of Hickory; nine great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Trudie Dean of Little Rock and Ann Dean Ivy of Titusville, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Reba Dean Mitchell and her husband, Waldo, of DeKalb; brothers, Adrian Johnson and Grady Johnson, both of Chunky; four step-grandchildren, Laura Jean McLaughlin and her husband, Tom, Linda Atkins and her husband, Randy, L. Joe Dean and his wife, Vickie, all of Virginia, and Sherry Jo Timmons and her husband, Michael, of Little Rock; four step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, C.M. "Jake" Dean, Lott Bailey and Joel Hatley; sons, Douglas Dean and Charles Jerome Dean; and one great-grandson, Steven Jerome Meaders.

Pallbearers will be Chris Collins, David Collins, Jason Cain, Greg Boggan, David West, Chris Cain and Jim Miles.

Services for Johnnie J. Duett will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Duwayne Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Duett, 82, of Gulfport, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, in Gulfport. He was retired from the U.S. Navy as a chief petty officer. He lived in Gulfport at the Armed Forces Retirement Home for the past year.
Survivors include his son, Robert Dahlke and his wife, Sharon; a daughter, Mary Dubose and her husband, Terry; grandchildren, Robby Dahlke, Ashley Dahlke, Phillip Dubose and Katie Dubose, all of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Marie Duett; parents, J.C. and Sarah Duett; brothers, Edgar Duett and Earl Duett; and a sister, Helen Fox.
Memorials may be made to the building fund at Trinity Lutheran Church of Meridian or Salem Baptist Church Building Fund in Burnside.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

NOXAPATER Services for Sibyl Wright Price will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Noxapater Methodist Church with the Revs. Charles Reed and Tommy Murphy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Nowell-Tilghman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Price, 85, of Noxapater, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, in her home.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Ann Reed of Noxapater, Martha Rainer of Louisville and Beth Hisaw of Meridian; a sister-in-law, Coleen Wright of Louisville; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Price; and a grandson, David Reed.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Frank Johnson will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at New Oak Grove Baptist Church in Shubuta with the Rev. Hubbard Arrington officiating. Burial will be in Elwood Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Johnson, 50, of Pachuta, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman.
Survivors include his father, Mingo Johnson Sr.; his mother, Bennie Lee Johnson; daughters, Sharon Satcher and Tammy Satcher; sisters, Earnestine Barnes, Mary Johnson and Peggy Johnson; brothers, Ray Charles Johnson, Mingo Johnson Jr. and Robert Johnson, all of Pachuta.
Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the church.
DECATUR, Ga. Services for Annie S. Clayton will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Kemper Springs Union Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Clayton, 86, of Covington, Ga., died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, in Covington.
Survivors include her daughters, Martha L. Hursey of Mississippi, Jeanette Smith of Saginaw, Mich., and Vivian Gray of Covington; sons, Earl Clayton of Shallmar, Fla., Gregory Clayton of Douglasville, Ga., and Obie Clayton Jr. of Atlanta; a sister, Martha Vaughn of Ohio; 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
