Sgt. Dawlat Velastegni, left, hands toys donated to the Toys for Tots campaign to Staff Sgt. Donald Dare. On Saturday and Sunday, from noon-6 p.m., U.S. Marines will be at Geoffrey's, Wal-Mart SuperCenter and K-B Toys accepting donations from the public. Toys will be collected through Dec. 14, and then given to Wesley House in Meridian for distribution to needy children. Marines will also collect toys Dec. 4 during the city of Meridian's Holiday Parade. Last year, more than 3,000 toys were collected.
