It's one of the hottest business and personal management topics. A recent search of the phrase on the Internet search site Google turned up more than 14 million choices.
Time management is also an essential tool for healthy families.
The event is free, open to the public and sponsored by Weems Community Mental Health Center. Rosanne Nunnery, a therapist in the Children and Youth Services Division at Weems, will lead the seminar.
The family has undergone tremendous changes in the past four decades, Nunnery said, adding that many people try to fit a 30-hour lifestyle into a 24-hour day.
Spending quality time together is linked to many family health issues, Nunnery said.
Parents who don't spend much time with their children could miss important signs of problems such as depression, anxiety and drug or alcohol abuse.
The lack of time together doesn't just affect children it also has an impact on relationships between adults. Nunnery said people stay so busy they miss signs of problems in our spouse, such as anger, an increase in alcohol use or other trouble.
