Lady Bulldogs defeat Mt. Olive

Felecia Kirksey scored 22 points to lead the Lady Bulldogs of Clarkdale to a 48-42 win over Mt. Olive on Saturday night.
The win pushed Clarkdale to 5-6 on the season. The Lady Bulldogs play host to Enterprise on Monday night.
Jayme Hales had 11 points for Clarkdale.
SE girls 56
Neshoba Central 29
The Lady Tigers of Southeast Lauderdale moved their record to 14-0 on the season with the big win over the homestanding Lady Rockets.
Southeast led just 20-16 at the half, but outscored Neshoba Central 20-5 in the third quarter to take control of the game.
Stacy Tate scored 13 to lead the winners, while Queta Reed had 11 and Ebony Moore 10. SEL plays host to West Lauderdale on Tuesday.
Mt. Olive boys 74
Clarkdale fell to 5-6 on the year with the 74-47 loss to Mt. Olive.
Shannon Henley scored 26 points for the Bulldogs in the losing effort.
Bassfield girls 53
Bassfield jumped out to a 43-15 first half lead in winning Friday's contest at Bassfield.
The Lady Yellowjackets got 17 points from LaJerrica Booth and 14 from LaQuinta Turner.
Clarkdale got 16 points from Felicia Kirksey.
Bassfield boys 62
Bassfield led 22-8 after one quarter in taking Friday's game at Bassfield.
Clarkdale got 24 points from Shannon Henley and 16 from Deion Henley. Bassfield got 20 points from Marcus Pitts, 14 from Malcolm McLeod, 12 from Stanley Newsome, and 10 from Kenny Aultman.
Bassfield led 30-14 at halftime and 44-33 through three periods.
Patrician (girls) 65
Lakeside School 48
Kane Andrews had 14 points and seven steals to lead Patrician Academy to a 65-48 win over Lakeside School on Friday.
Lauren Downing added 11 points and had eight assists for the Lady Saints, who improved to 5-2. Lakeside fell to 3-4.
The win in the semi-finals of the Patrician Academy Holiday Classic set up a game between Patrician and Morgan Academy on Saturday. Results of that game were unavailable at press time.
SE girls 3
Newton County 2
Lindsey Raines scored a goal for SEL, while Megan Munn picked up two for Newton County. No other scorers were reported.

The Tigers beat the Newton County Cougars in a shutout. None of the scorers names were reported.
Christian Brothers 73
West Alabama 55
Adam Ruffin had 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting and five rebounds for the Tigers, but it would not be enough as homestanding West Alabama lost 73-55 to Christian Brothers (10-0) on Saturday.
Nic Gragg added 10 points for the Tigers, including 2-of-3 shooting from behind the three-point line. Issac Greenwood added seven points and a game-high eight rebounds, while teammate Cadarrall Eddings contributed seven points.
Jordan Jeffries led the Buccaneers with a game-high 26 points on 11-of-15 shooting to go along with six rebounds.
West Alabama falls to 1-9 overall. The Tigers return to action on Monday when Emmanuel College pays a visit to Pruitt Hall for a 7:30 p.m. tip off. Admission to Monday's game will free.
