Services for Mildred Louise Cobb will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Davey Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in Oxford Cemetery.
Mrs. Cobb, 85, of Lauderdale, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at Heartfelt Hospice. She was a member of Lauderdale United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Luther Ray Cobb and his wife, Vickey, of Lauderdale; her daughter, Martha Kate Beall and her husband, Jack, of Koscuisko; grandchildren, Jimmy McLaughlin and his wife, Julie; Brian McLaughlin and his wife, Amy; Thad Cobb of Lauderdale; Charlie Cobb of Gulfport; Stand Beall and his wife, Tammy; Tammy Hunt and her husband, Tim; and Lisa Tarver and her husband, John; her great-grandchild, Chandler McLaughlin; brothers and sisters, Merle Carlisle of Vimville; Henry Thompson and his wife, Doris, of Lauderdale; and Willie Frank Thompson and his wife, Norma, of Russell; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cobb.
The family requests memorials be made to Lauderdale United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 67, Lauderdale, MS 39335.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
HAMMOND, La. Services for Emma Jane Brown Walker will be held today at 10 a.m. at Geisler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kris Chenier officiating. Burial will be in Sandhill Cemetery in Ponchatoula, La.
Mrs. Walker, 65, of Hammond, formerly of Kemper County, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, at River Oaks Hospital in Hammond.
Survivors include her son, Paul Wayne Walker Jr.; daughters, Dawn Walker, Tina Cooper, Crystal Bennett of Hammond, Renee Harrison of Sacramento, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Imogene Williamson of Toomsuba; a sister-in-law, Nickie Allen of San Francisco; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Walker Sr.; her parents, Ernest Brown and Elsie Franklin Brown; a brother, J.W. Franklin; sisters, Mildred Franklin and Ernestine Brown Moffett; and a brother-in-law, Sheldon Williamson.
Visitation will be today from 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m. at the funeral home.

UNION Services for Eldie Mae Howington will be held today at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Little Rock with the Revs. Lin Chesney, Mike Truhitt and Rusty Walton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Howington, 92, of Meridian, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004, in Meridian. She was a lifelong member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Little Rock.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann Alexander and her husband, Jimmy, of Meridian; a son, Don Howington and his wife, Beth, of Little Rock; six grandchildren, Melanie Chesney and her husband, Tim, and Marsha Whitlock and her husband, Roger, all of Union, Stacy Howington of Little Rock, Gina Sharman and her husband, Randy, Rhonda Poole and her husband, Ed, and Donna Creel and her husband, Greg, all of Meridian; 12 great-grandchildren, A.J. and Monica Chesney, Morgan and Brett Whitlock, Megan, Leslie and Lacy Howington, Jamey, Sharman, Cody and Sara Creel and Victoria and Alex Poole; a sister, Nellie Montegue of Union and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Howington.
Pallbearers will be Tim Chesney, Roger Whitlock, Stacy Howington, Randy Sharman, Greg Creel and Ed Poole.

PHILADELPHIA Services for James Alvin Morris will be held today at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Church at Four Corners in Winston County with the Revs. James McFall and C. G. Green officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with John E Stephens Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Morris, 66, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, March 2, 2004, in his home. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his daughter, Angela McFall of Philadelphia; sons, Tommie Morris of Spring, Texas, Bobby Morris of Montgomery, Texas; sisters, Louise Walden and Carolyn Sue Cortes, both of Tyler, Texas and Laura Jean Dougherty of Lindale, Texas; brothers, Benjamin Morris, William Morris and Larry Morris, all of Tyler, and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services for Simon L. Conner will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Holloman officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Conner, 94, of Shubuta, died Thursday, March 4, 2004, at Golden Meadow Rest Home in Pachuta. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, was a mason and was a warehouseman in Detroit, Mich. He also enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his brother, William Conner and his wife, Bethel, of Detroit; several nieces and nephews, and his brother-in-law, John Holloman and his wife, Fredna, of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Mae Conner, three brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be Saturday two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
Retired from East Mississippi State Hospital
UNION Services for Flora Catherine Link will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel in Union with the Revs. Mike Truhill and Kevin Jones officiating. Burial will be in Beatline Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Link, 78, of Meridian, died Thursday, March 4, 2004, at Regency Hospital in Meridian.
Survivors include her two sons, James Link and his wife, Carolyn, of Crystal Springs; and Jimmy Link and his wife, Sarah Wofford, of Tillotoba; her daughter, Kathy Goforth and her husband, Jerry, of Union; six grandchildren, Allen Link, Benita McKey, Mandy Alford, Brian Goforth, Isaac Goforth, and Shannon Goforth Pegram; and four great-grandchildren, Shye Wesley Link, Alley Jordon Alford, Courtney McKey and Kelsey Pegram.
