Graham and Debbie Braswell Jr. of Jackson, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Shea, to Jason Todd Randolph, son of Scott and Ellen Randolph of Huntsville, Ala.
The wedding will be Friday, April 23, 2004, at 6 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church in Madison, Ala.
Miss Braswell is the granddaughter of Lamar and Frances Smith, Denton G. and Sonni Braswell, and the late Monecha Braswell, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Jackson High School and attended the University of Montevallo. She received her bachelor's degree from Athens State College in 1998.
While attending The University of Montevallo, she was a member of Baptist Campus Ministries where she led the drama team for three years.
Miss Braswell is employed by Trinity United Methodist Church as a preschool teacher.
Mr. Randolph is the grandson of Carl Randolph and the late Eliza Randolph of Huntsville, and the late Dr. H.V. and LaVeda Elwell.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Grissom High School and received a degree from Athens State College in 1997.
While attending Athens State, he was a member of Psi Chi National Honor Society.
Mr. Randolph is employed by Nationwide Insurance as a material damage claims adjuster.
