YORK, Ala. Graveside services for Claude William Grace will be held today at 2 p.m. at Cokes Chapel Church Cemetery with the Rev. Albert Creel officiating. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Grace, 92, of Ward, died Sunday, March 28, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene Powell Grace of Ward; sons, Tommy Grace of Clayton, Calif., and John Grace of Ward; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Terry.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Ann Barnett will be held today at 4 p.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Revs. Bobby Ferguson and Jay Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Coldwater Cemetery.
Mrs. Barnett, 63, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, March 27, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Rowell and her husband, Earl, and Lisa Coats and her husband, Ray, all of Union, Penny Sullivan and her husband, Matthew, and Brandy Hutchinson and her husband, Jamie, all of Philadelphia; three sons, the Rev. John Barnett and his wife, Mary, James Barnett and his wife, Joyce, and Lewis Barnett and his husband, Paula, all of Philadelphia; a sister, Marie Waldrop of Madison Heights, Mich.; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sad Barnett.

Services for Billy Gene Jay Sr. will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Clarke County with the Revs. Dr. Hack McMullan and Clay Chancellor officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jay, 74, of Meridian, died Saturday, March 27, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired live stock farmer and hardwood lumber inspector who recently retired from Baylor Lumber Company in Quitman. He lived most of his life in the Snell Community. He was a devout Christian who will be remembered as a very devoted family man whose joy was in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a friend to all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Winnifred Sollie Jay of Meridian; a son, Billy Gene Jay Jr. and his wife, Shirley; a daughter, Teresa Roberts and her husband, Ronney; grandchildren, Jeff Jay and his wife, Kim, Eric James and his wife, Alicia, Billy Joe Jay and his wife, Tanya, Jerra Brillhart and her husband, David, and Brandi Roberts; great-grandchildren, Ryan James, Emily James, Jordin Jay, Jade Jay, Falon Jay, Sarah Grace and Amanda Brillhart, and Raegan Jay; brothers-in-law, Raymond Sollie and his wife, Sally Kate, of Starkville and Bill Sollie of the Snell Community; and an aunt, Charlotte Griffin of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Madge Jay; and his parents-in-law, Carlton and Edrie Sollie.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Jeff Jay, Billy Joe Jay, Eric James and David Brillhart, and his nephews, Ray Sollie and Mark Sollie.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Tuesday 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
