Mr. and Mrs. William Danny Kerley of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Leigh, to William Seth Joyner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wade Joyner Jr. of Nashville, Tenn.
The wedding will be Saturday, April 17, 2004, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Miss Kerley is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Webb Thompson of Bassfield; Maxie Kerley of Bassfield and the late John L. Kerley.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and received a bachelor's of arts degree with a minor in business administration from the University of Mississippi.
While at Ole Miss, she was a member of Kappa Delta, the varsity cheerleading squad and the 2001 homecoming court.
Miss Kerley is employed by Oxford Publishing Company as an account executive.
Mr. Joyner is the grandson of Mildred Nix Joyner and late Edward Wade Joyner Sr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Hope Allen, all of Nashville.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Franklin Road Academy. He received a bachelor's of business administration with majors in general business and business management from the University of Mississippi.
While at Ole Miss, he was a member of Phi Delta Theta, the Rebel football team, American Marketing Association and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Mr. Joyner is a professional health care representative with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
A reception will be held at Northwood Country Club following the ceremony.
