Riding a Rail

Meridian skater Phillip Gomillion, 16, attempts to "ride a rail" Wednesday in front of the Central United Methodist Church on 23rd Avenue. Gomillion said he would like to see the city build a skating park because it "sure would be better than us having to go around town or travel to Hattiesburg to skate." Gomillion said he has been skating for more than two years.
