Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Roberson of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Kacie Lynn, to Douglas Christopher Luebbers, son of Tammy Phillips of Little Rock, Doug Luebbers of Jackson and Tommy Miller of Meridian.
The wedding will be Sunday, April 11, 2004, at 6 p.m. in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.
Miss Roberson is the granddaughter of Ikie Ethridge and Jerry Ethridge of Collinsville; Macie Roberson of Toomsuba and the late William Roberson.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale High School and attended Meridian Community College, where she was a member of the softball team. She received a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Mississippi State University.
Miss Roberson is employed by the Enterprise School District.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Newton County High School and attended East Central Community College and LeGrange College in LaGrange, La.
While attending both colleges, he was a member of the soccer teams.
Mr. Luebbers is employed by the Meridian Fire Department and the Decorator Center.
A dinner will be held at the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort following the ceremony.
