Tom Williams, president and CEO of the Meridian Airport Authority, was convicted of misdemeanor petit larceny Tuesday in Clarke County Justice Court.
The complaint against him was made by his estranged wife, Sharon Williams, and involved copies of records that listed the income from her business Kid Zone in the Clarkdale community of Lauderdale County.
The couple is in the midst of a divorce being heard in Lauderdale County Chancery Court; the charges have a connection to that action.
Justice Court Judge Tobey Bartee of Clarke County found Williams guilty of petit larceny and ordered him to pay $181.50 in court costs. The judge did not sentence Williams to jail time.
Tom Williams is represented by Meridian attorney Joseph Kieronski.
Because Clarke County does not have a County Court, any appeal would be heard in Clarke County Circuit Court.
