Angela Ishee Hamrick and Jimmy Michael Holmes, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, April 10, 2004, at the Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort in Nassau, Bahamas, with the Rev. A. Dewitt Hutcheson officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Gerry M. Ishee of Quitman, Mr. and Mrs. James Holmes of Butler, Ala., and Clara Jean Holmes of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. William Ray Thead of Quitman, Hazel Ishee of Stringer and the late Melvin Ishee.
In an intimate ceremony in the garden of the resort, the bride wore a floor-length gown of Italian silk with a chiffon overlay. She carried a bouquet of peach roses, coral carnations and daisies that was wrapped with her late great-grandmother's handkerchief.
A private reception was held in a floral adorned gazebo following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in the Bahamas, the couple resides in Meridian. The bridegroom is vice-president of Southern Waste Disposal Inc. and the bride is a registered nurse.
