Ashley Shea Braswell and Jason Todd Randolph, both of Huntsville, Ala., were married Friday, April 23, 2004, at Asbury Methodist Church in Madison, Ala., with the Rev. Jimmy Aycock officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Graham Braswell of Jackson, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Randolph of Huntsville.
Grandparents of the bride are Frances and Lamar Smith of Meridian, Denton G. and Sonni Braswell of Meridian and the late Monecha Braswell.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Carl Randolph of Huntsville and the late Eliza Randolph, and the late Dr. H.V. and LaVeda Elwell.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Rosemary Hill, pianist; Beverly Dishman, organist; and Graham Braswell, vocalist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a formal gown of white Duchess satin accented with platinum embroidery. The gown featured a scooped neckline and the bodice with scrolling embroidery, pearls and bugle beads. The skirt was softly gathered and fell from a Basque waistline that swept into an extended chapel-length train.
Kim Franklin of Huntsville served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Kim Owen of Huntsville and Kacey Randolph of Murfreesboro, Tenn., sister-in-law of the bridegroom. Shanna Eubanks of Meridian, cousin of the bride, was guest book attendant.
Brian Randolph of Murfreesboro, Tenn., brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Jon Boozer, Matt DeWitt and Matt Roper, all of Huntsville, and Wesley Braswell of Chickasaw, Ala., brother of the bride.
A reception was held at the Tom Bevill Center in Huntsville following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Doug and Becky Spangler, Judy Randolph and Mrs. Jim Eubanks.
After a honeymoon cruise to Playa De Carmen, Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Key West, the couple resides in Huntsville.
