Mr. and Mrs. Danny F. Knight of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Brookley Michele, to William Scott Gibson, son of Ruth Gibson of Meridian and the late Richard William "Rosco" Gibson.
The wedding will be Saturday, June 19, 2004, at 6 p.m. at Central Baptist Church of Meridian.
Miss Knight is the granddaughter of Charlie and Ruth Love of Meridian and the late Jean C. Love, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Frank Knight.
The bride-elect of Clarkdale Attendance Center and received a degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University.
While attending MSU, she was a President's Scholar. Miss Knight is employed by Clarkdale Attendance Center as a fifth grade teacher.
Mr. Gibson is the grandson of Doris G. Sherlock of Gautier, Ruth Ann Gibson of Dayton, Ohio, and the late David Gibson, and the late David and Iva Lee Hayman of Waycross, Ga.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale Attendance Center and received a degree in secondary education from Mississippi State University. Mr. Gibson is is a teacher and coach at Clarkdale.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
