Meridian Community College bagged itself another Lady Tiger for the women's basketball team.
Former Southeast Lauderdale player Ebony Moore officially joined the Lady Eagles as a walk-on for next season on Saturday at the Damon Fitness Center.
Moore is the fourth player from Southeast's girls basketball team, which finished third in the Class 3A state tournament this year, to join MCC's women's program.
Moore, who played guard for the Lady Tigers, joins Southeast alumnae Stacy Tate, La'Shondra Hall and Shalonda Mitchell on the Lady Eagles.
The quartet of players were part of a senior class that won over a 100 games in four years at Southeast. The Lady Tigers finished the 2003-04 season with a 34-3 record.
Moore said one of the reasons she chose to join the Lady Eagles was the chance to play two more years of basketball close to home.
While MCC will have four players from the same team for the upcoming season, Allen said there shouldn't be any problem melding the Lady Tiger foursome in with the rest of his roster.
