QUITMAN Graveside services for Mildred Marie Hattaway Shirley will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Stonewall Cemetery with the Rev. David Chandler officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Shirley, 75, of Stonewall, died Monday, June 28, 2004, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Ray Shirley of Stonewall; daughters, Joyce Marie Irby and her husband, Johnnie, of Kilgore, Texas, and Wanda Kay Pugh and her husband, Terry, of Stonewall; brothers, Dewey Hattaway of Little Rock and O.L. Hattaway of Summitt, Mo.; a sister, Odessa Stephens of Union; grandchildren, Lisa Morgan, Donavon Pugh, Chasity White and Amanda Whalen; great-grandchildren, Bailey White, Rob "L.L. Rob" White, Corey Odom, Sonny Waylon, Michael Morgan and Kevin Ray Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Ray Shirley Jr.; and a granddaughter, Stephanie LeAnn Pugh.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Grace E. Mosley will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Mrs. Mosley, 85, of Baton Rouge, La., died Sunday, June 27, 2004, at Regency Place in Baton Rouge.
Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy Smith of Baton Rouge; a son, Denton Mosley of Baton Rouge; a brother, James Walters of the House Community; a sister, Ethel Duett of Decatur; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Mosley; a daughter, Maxine Pearson; a son-in-law, W.P. "Bill" Smith; and a sister, Bertha Brown.
Pallbearers will be John Coker, Billy Hagwood, Charlie Cooper, Randy Breland, Bill Smith and Thad Smith.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

BAY SPRINGS Services for Louis Garven Dickinson will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dickinson, 71, of Rose Hill, died Sunday, June 27, 2004, in his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his son, Louis G. Dickinson Jr.; and a sister, Annie Sue Asprion, both of Rose Hill.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Martha Hess.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Jessie L. Moore will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Eighth Avenue Church of God with the Rev. Glenn Hall officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Moore, 93, of Meridian, died Friday, June 25, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her daughters, Marjoree Hall of Jackson, Barbara J. Parker and her husband, Charlie, of Los Angeles, Mattie P. Davis and Clara E. Shack, both of Meridian; a son, John H. Moore of Meridian; 27 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

SNELLVILLE, Ga. Services for Wayne A. Scruggs will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Tom M. Wages Funeral Services Chapel in Snellville. Burial will be in Hill Haven Memory Gardens Cemetery in Monroe, Ga.
Mr. Scruggs, 66, of Monroe, formerly of Meridian, died Sunday, June 27, 2004, in Monroe. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Julia Ann Speed Scruggs of Monroe; a daughter, Teresa Fuller and her husband, Gary, of Lilburn; sons, Richard Scruggs and his wife, Taffy, of Monroe and Tom Scruggs and his wife, Chris, of Monroe; sisters, Pat Smith and her husband, Al, of Locust Grove, Sheila Braswell and her husband, Mike, of Conyers, and Mary Ferguson and her husband, David, of Meridian; his step-mother, Gladys Scruggs of Meridian; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Dean.
Visitation will be Thursday 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Bonnie Jean Barney, 64, of Detroit, who died Sunday, June 27, 2004, in Detroit.
