Services for Judith "Judy" Cox will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James E. Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Cox, 59, of Meridian, died Saturday, July 3, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a 1963 graduate of Meridian High School. She received a degree from Gadsden State University and Jacksonville State University in 1995 at the age of 48. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary Fleet Reserve Association.
Survivors include her husband of more than 31 years, Buddy Cox of Meridian; a son, Tony Vandiver and his wife, Renee, of Auburn, Ala.; a daughter, Teresa Radcliffe and her husband, Curtis, of Toomsuba; step-son, Frank Cox and his wife, Paige, of Texas; parents, Jim and Bessie Chandler of Meridian; a sister, Barbara Richardson and her husband, Brad, of Meridian; brothers, Jimmy Chandler and his wife, Carol, Randy Chandler and his wife, Cathy, Danny Chandler and his wife, Pat, and Ricky Chandler, all of Meridian; grandchildren, Alie Radcliffe and Heather Radcliffe, both of Meridian, Hannah Vandiver and Mya Vandiver, both of Auburn, Lacey Pope of South Carolina and Calvin Cox of Texas.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Christina Cox.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Stephens Funeral Home for Malcolm Phillips, 84, of Collinsville, who died Monday, July 5, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Glenda Couch, 67, of Meridian, who died Sunday, July 4, 2004, in her home.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for William Fontaine, of Meridian, who died Sunday, July 4, 2004, in Neshoba County.
