SUPPLY OUR STUDENTS' DONATION Bubba Hampton, executive vice-president of Community Bank and president-elect of the United Way of East Mississippi, left, accepts a $10,000 check Wednesday from Becky Farley, program director of The Riley Foundation, as Betty Lou Jones, former president of the local United Way, speaks at a press conference. The donation will help purchase school supplies for area students through a program called "Supply Our Students." The United Way is also asking the public to help by making cash contributions or donating school supplies. The supplies will be distributed to students next week at the Frank Cochran Center. For more information about how to help, call the United Way at 639-2732.
