Bob and Peggy Carmichael of Enterprise announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Michelle Boyd, to James Christopher Brown Jr., son of Chris and Linda Brown of Meridian. Miss Boyd is also the daughter of the late David Boyd of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, July 31, 2004, at 7 p.m. in the home of Lee and Jennifer Ezell.
Miss Boyd is the granddaughter of the late Jack and Nannie Louise Youngblood and the late Eugene and Louise Boyd, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Enterprise High School and received a cosmetology license from Final Touch Beauty School.
Miss Boyd is employed by Changes Hair Studio.
Mr. Brown is the grandson of the late Hilton and Dot Brown of Canton and Glenna Ross of Yazoo City and the late Henry Ross of Yazoo City.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School and attends Meridian Community College.
Mr. Brown is employed at Naval Air Station Meridian.
A reception will be held at the Ezell home following the ceremony.
