Olga Yurieuna Sapelina of Decatur and Ralph Murray Hutchinson of Collinsville were married Saturday, April 17, 2004, in a garden wedding at the lakeside home of Marcy and Oliver Joyner in Shamberville Lakes. The Rev. Dr. Richard Ethridge officiated.
Parents of the couple are Yuri and Galina Sapelin, and Mary Lou Hutchinson and the late Willie L. Hutchinson. Honorary representatives of the bride's parents were James and Ruth Holt.
Grandparents of the bride are Vasli and Elizabeth Sapelin, and Alexander and Paisia Parechemkina.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Ralph and Martie Hutchinson, and late Morgan and Willie Lou Powell.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Betty Sue Chaney, vocalist; Tonette Kellett and Joshua Todd.
The bride was given in marriage by James Holt. She wore a candlelight satin gown with a train accented with floral stitched appliques. She wore a candlelight satin and tulle veil anchored by a tiara.
Helen Johnson of Decatur served as matron of honor. Other attendant was Kristi Hutchinson of Collinsville.
Mikhail Misha Saplin of Decatur was best man. Groomsman was Bill Hutchinson of Collinsville.
A reception was held at the Joyner's home following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Shanna Anthony, Betty Hutchinson and Nicole Jones.
After a trip to the Kyrgz Republic and Russia, the couple resides in the Martin Community of Collinsville.
