Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Rivers of Stonewall announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Nicole Howell, to Dustin Lee Webb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt Webb, and Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Fisher, all of Meridian. Lindsay is also the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Howell of Orlando.
The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Rolling Creek Baptist Church in Quitman.
Ms. Howell is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Scott of Quitman, Mr. and Mrs. John Robert Lightsey of Enterprise and Mrs. Vernon Rivers Sr. of Arp, Texas.
The bride-elect is a 2004 honor graduate of Quitman High School. She is attending Meridian Community College pursuing a degree in elementary education. She is employed by Dillards.
Mr. Webb is the grandson of Wendell Webb and the late Chris Webb, Hilda Sanford and the late Joe Sanford, Drucille Fisher and the late Everette Fisher and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Winstead, all of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a 2004 graduate of Clarkdale High School. He is attending Meridian Community College pursuing a degree in nursing.
He is employed at Rush Foundation Hospital.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
