The South Jones Braves' defense outworked the Bay Springs Bulldogs en route to a 17-6 victory on Friday night at Braves Stadium in Ellisville.
South Jones was limited in the first half to a mere 12 offensive plays, compared to the 31 plays run by the Bulldogs. The Braves, however, made the most of it with a halftime lead of 7-0.

A quick three and out by the Bay Springs offense yielded a punt to the 41-yard line of the Braves. With the first play following the punt, South Jones quarterback Andra Jones ran a quarterback keeper all the way to the end zone for a 59-yard touchdown run for a 17-0 South Jones lead.
