Services for Amos Powell will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Amos Powell officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Powell, 63, of Meridian, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his sons, Kenneth Powell of San Leander, Calif., Amos Russell of Meridian, Ace Powell, Aaron Powell, Amos Powell, Alfonso Alexander, Anthony Alexander, Ronald Brookshire, Donald Brookshire, Chay-Chay Alexander, all of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Julie Hall of Victorville, Calif., Amy Powell-Edwards of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a sister, Billie Powell of St. Louis and a brother, Joe Powell of St. Louis and 20 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Victoria Powell.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

QUITMAN Services for Charlie "Cuddy" Goodwin Jr. will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home Chapel in Quitman with the Rev. Charles Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in the Shiloh Cemetery.
Mr. Goodwin, 91, of Quitman, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at Lakeside Living Center.
Survivors include his sons, Charles Goodwin and his wife, Ella, of Meridian and Paul Goodwin Sr. of Quitman; a daughter, Elouise Goodwin of Quitman; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 p.m.- 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Annie B. Clayton will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Elizabeth Baptist Church in Lauderdale with the Rev. Terry Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Gibbs Cemetery in Cuba, Ala. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Clayton, 57, of Lauderdale, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, in Lauderdale.
Survivors include her sisters, Ethel Mae Overstreet and Eula Mae Overstreet, both of Lauderdale, Catherine Patrick and Mary Wilson, both of Cuba, Ala.; brothers, Ernest Lee Almond, Earlie B. Almond, Samuel Almond, Henry L. Almond and Edward E. Almond, all of Lauderdale and a foster sister, Debbie Ann Jackson of Lauderdale.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m.-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Arthur Townsend will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Elizabeth Baptist Church in Lauderdale with the Rev. Terry Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Pack Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Townsend, 54, of Toomsuba, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his daughter, Sylvia Clark of Toomsuba; sons, Tnavanius Brewster and Keiones Brewster, both of Toomsuba; a sister, Olia Rogers of Inkster, Mich., Easter Dixon of Immokalee, Fla. and Gloria Kendrick of Arcadia, Fla.; brothers, Louis Townsend and Robert L. Townsend, both of Toomsuba and one grandchild.
Visitation will be Friday from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

FAIRHOPE, Ala. A private service will be held at a later date for Wilbert B. Williams. Fairhope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Williams, 83, of Fairhope, formerly of Meridian, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, in Birmingham, Ala. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps and served in World War II. He was the retired financial vice-president of Southern Pipe and Supply
He was a native of Red Level, Ala. and a resident of Meridian for more than 30 years. He was a graduate of Murphy High School in 1941 and the University of Alabama in 1950.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie B. Williams of Fairhope; a son, Richard W. Williams and his wife, Teri, of Clemons, N.C.; a grandson, Chris J. Williams of Kennesaw, Ga. and two great-grandsons, Ian and Nathan; a brother, John W. Williams of Sea Level, N.C. and several other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the University of Alabama Alumni Association.
Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for Chris'shod Ruteley, six months, of Meridian, who died Monday, Sept. 20, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
