Services for Annette Taliaferro Vance will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with Sam Kitchens officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Vance, 91, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, in her home. She was a charter member of the Church of Christ of Meridian. She was a retired insurance clerk. She retired from the Medical Arts Surgical Group after working there many years and worked for Dr. E.E. Roberson until his retirement.
Survivors include her daughter, Anne Vance Kitching and her husband, Sam, of Macclenny, Fla.; a son, Harley "Mike" Vance and his wife, Dorothy, of Meridian; grandsons, Dr. Sam Kitching Jr. and his wife, Carolyn, of Fort Worth, Texas, Brantley Kitching and his wife, Vickie, of Athens, Ga. and Dr. Ken Kitching and his wife, Dr. Amy, of Statesboro, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Tanner Kitching of Fort Worth, Cooper and Harley Kitching of Athens, Ga. and Annelise and Isaac Kitching of Statesboro; step-grandsons, Alan Smith, Kevin Smith and his wife, Lessia and Edward Smith and his wife, Karen, all of Meridian; step-great-grandchildren, Eliot, Luke, Harleigh and Ella Smith, all of Meridian; sisters-in-law, Lois Vance, Mable Mayfield, both of Meridian and Rebecca Vance of Jackson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Vance; her parents, three sisters and one brother.
Memorials may be made to The Florida Bible Camp.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Sam, Brantley and Ken Kitching and her great-grandsons, Cooper, Tanner and Isaac Kitching.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
FAYETTE, Ala. Services for Sarah Elizabeth Renfro will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Norwood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Renfro, 74, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, in her home.
Survivors include her daughters, Cathy Wright and her husband, Roger, of Meridian and Sandra West and her husband, Michael, of Newport, N.C.; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; one sister, and one brother.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Services for Jessie Mathis will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at 31st Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Mathis, 61, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Mathis of Meridian; sons, Justin Mathis and Michael Mathis; a daughter, Deidra Mathis, all of Meridian; a god-child, Tamaris Jowers; brothers, S.K. Mathis and his wife, Ann, Clemmie Mathis and his wife, Betty, all of Meridian; sisters, Christine Washington and her husband, William, of Swartz Creek, Mich., Mordine Peppers of Chicago, Arletha Blackman and her husband, Donald, of Tinley Park, Ill., Martha Childress of Oak Lawn, Ill. and Jeanell McRae and her husband, Larry, of Orlando; sisters-in-law, Aljean Needham and her husband, Edward, of Decatur, Janet Wheaton and her husband, Jerry, of Mont Rose and Laura Walker and her husband, Walter of Gautier; uncles, Rudolph Jennings and Randolph Jennings and his wife, Fannie; aunts, Bessie Cole, Carrie Bourrage, Lodie Geary, Bessie Triplett and Catherine Watson, all of Meridian; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, church family and his dog, Spike Mathis.
He was preceded in death by his father, sister and brother.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Truck driver
BETHANY, Mo. Graveside services and military rites for Keith Templeton will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at The Chapel Grove Cemetery in Clark, Mo. Roberson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Templeton, 56, of Bethany, formerly of Meridian, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, at Columbia Missouri Hospital. He was a veteran and served in Vietnam.
Survivors include his son, Keith Wayne Templeton of Fort Benning, Ga.; brothers, Doyle Templeton and his wife, Kathy, of Welch, Okla., Lee Roy Templeton of Meridian; sisters, Carolyn Marsh and her husband, Floyd, of Ridgeway, Betty Ward and her husband, Skip, of Bethany and Louis Kirchhoff and her husband, Wayne, of Moberly.

Services for Willie "Doc" Roberts will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel in Meridian with the Rev. Greg Baylor officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Church Cemetery. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Roberts, 75, of Meridian, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, at Guardian Angel Hospice in Marion. He was a veteran of the U.S. military.
Survivors include his brother, Jimmy Roberts of Meridian and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the Community Chapel in Meridian.
Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home for Velma Warren, 58, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
