Dr. and Mrs. Anthony Petro of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Louise, to George Richard Greenlee Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. George Richard Greenlee Sr. of Jackson.
The wedding will be Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at 7 p.m. at The Cathedral of St. Andrew in Jackson.
Dr. Petro is the granddaughter of Dewey G. Sadka of Meridian and the late Louise Sadka, and Bedear Petro of Leland and the late Amy Petro.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Jackson Academy High School and Florida State University. She is a fourth-year resident in otolaryngology at the University of Mississippi.
Mr. Greenlee is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Greenlee, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Clark Love Sr.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Jackson Prepatory High School and the University of Mississippi.
Mr. Greenlee is the president of DataBase Systems Corp.
A reception will be held at The Country Club of Jackson following the ceremony.
