Kelly Williams of Meridian and Charlie Waite of Newport Beach, Calif. announce their engagement.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, in Oxford.
Parents of the couple are Gregg and Nita Williams and Charles Carroll Waite II and Nadine Van Riper.
Miss Williams is the granddaughter of James and Viola Williams and Carleen Miles.
The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School and the University of Mississippi.
While at Ole Miss, she was a member of the Varsity Dance Team.
Miss Williams is a sales representative in Irvine, Calif.
Mr. Waite is the grandson of Adelaide Bell and Betty Waite Taylor.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Newport Harbor High School and the University of Mississippi.
While at Ole Miss, he was a member of the varsity baseball team.
Mr. Waite is in graphic design in Huntington Beach, Calif.
After the wedding, the couple will reside in Newport Beach.
