UNION Services for Irvin Bozeman will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Brown Barrier, Arrie Fulton and Mike Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Bozeman, 86, of Union, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at Alliance Hospital. He was born March 23, 1918, and was raised in a unique time when people truly worked by the sweat of their brow and lived by the love in their hearts. He lived by both. He often recalled stories of the times when he had to move logs by wagons pulled with oxen to the railroad tracks. These are the wonderful memories that will live in the hearts of his children and grandchildren. He believed in helping his fellow man, and demonstrated this during his lifetime. He truly cared for people and held a heartfelt desire to help whenever someone was in need. He served as the Neshoba County coroner for 16 years, and helped his fellow man in a time of grief and sorrow. He was a farmer for most of his life. He hauled wood and dug wells for family and friends. He maintained five cemeteries for 25 years. He also helped open and close 1,269 graves in his 30 years of service.
Survivors include his sons, Carrol Bozeman, G.W. Bozeman and Rodney Bozeman, all of Philadelphia; daughters, Bobbie Kaszubowski, Patricia Bustos, Rachel Watkins and Brenda Ferguson, all of Philadelphia; a sister, Tessie Fulton of Philadelphia; a brother, R.D. Bozeman of Flint, Mich.; 39 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Odean Bozeman; a son, James Bozeman; his parents, John David and Leonia Bozeman; brothers, Arnold Bozeman, James Otis Bozeman, Herman Bozeman, Oliver Bozeman and Leeroy Bozeman; and a sister, Estella Bozeman.
Pallbearers will be Joe Bozeman, Mark Bozeman, Dale Fulton, Pete Bozeman, Buddy Bozeman, Perry Fulton, Coy Bozeman and Dolan Bozeman.
Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Services for Toby Ezell will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Anthony Brown officiating.
Mr. Ezell, 34, of Meridian, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his mother, Katie Ezell of Meridian; brothers, James Lee McWilliams Jr. and his wife, Jean, of Cincinnati, Tracy Brown and his wife, Shelia, of Meridian and Clyde Kelly and his wife, Lorraine, of Hattiesburg; sisters, Brenda Ezell and her husband, Jessie, and Jackie Leggett, all of Meridian; and a daughter, Caltazel Ezell of Meridian.

Services for Joseph D. Buck Sr. will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel with the Rev. Benjamin S. Buck officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Buck, 87, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his wife Beverly Buck of Meridian; daughters, Joanne Robertson and Shelia Kimbrough, both of Detroit; sons, Joseph D. Buck Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Meridian, Frank Buck and his wife, Linda, of Jackson, Benjamin Buck and his wife, Linda, of Hattiesburg and Jessie Buck and his wife, Sherry, of Brandon; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two sons and 10 siblings.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
SEBASTOPOL Services for Lou Jane Lewis will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Lewis, 46, of Carthage, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her daughters, Adrian Lewis and Ronata Lewis, both of Carthage and Louvenia Lewis of Albertville, Ala.; a son, Winnard Lewis Jr. of Carthage; 15 grandchildren; sisters, Evaline Gibson, Monica Sockey and Sarah Dixon, all of Carthage; brothers, Leonard Kopaddy Sr. and Jerry Wilson, both of Carthage; aunts, uncles, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Winnard Lewis Sr.; a daughter, Evelyn Lewis; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Gibson; and a brother, Daniel Gibson.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Elizabeth Ann Conard, 75, of Meridian, who died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
