Retired farmer and cattleman
DEKALB Services for R.C. Hailey Jr. will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Springhill Methodist Church with Dr. Owen Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hailey, 85, of DeKalb, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, in his home. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his brothers, Hollie Hailey of DeKalb and Cecil Hailey of Preston; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ouida A. Hailey.
Visitation will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the church.
Former owner of Freddie's Florist
PHILADELPHIA Services for Freddie Jane Bridges will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service chapel. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery in Leake County.
Mrs. Bridges, 63, of Philadelphia, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was a native of the Edinburg community of Leake County, moving to Neshoba County in 1971. She owned Freddie's Florist from 1976-2000. She was a member of Beacon Street Baptist Church, and was an active member of Deep South and National Paso Fino Horse associations. She also was the owner of Hacienda Del Rey Paso Fino Farm.
Survivors include her husband, Forrest Bridges of Philadelphia; daughters, Nancy Leticia Sellers and Cindy Bridges Deaton, both of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Andy Sellers, Emily Deaton, Alex Deaton, Austin Sellers, Zachary Deaton and Isaac Sellers; a great-grandchild, Kayleigh Sellers; sisters, Shirley Smith of Philadelphia, Clydia Milner of Anguilla, Polly Adams of Jackson, Peggy Allen of Morton, Dot Vogel of Stow, Mass., and Lou Manuel of Brandon; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Alex Deaton, Zachary Deaton, Austin Sellers, Andy Sellers, John Bridges, Shane Manuel, Larry Johnston and Michael Reynolds.
The family requests memorials be made to The Gideon's International, American Cancer Society, New Vision Bible Church in Edinburg or the Beacon Street Baptist Church Building Fund in Philadelphia.
Visitation will be held today from 4 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Charles Swinton Agent will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at John E. Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Don Savell and John Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Baptist Church cemetery.
Mr. Agent, 78, of Harvey, La., formerly of Philadelphia, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at Mason Deville Nursing Home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his daughter, Judy Boudreaux and her husband, Frank, of Marrero, La.; a son, Donnie Agent and his wife, Joyce, of Harvey, La.; sisters, Elna Coghlan of Kosciusko, Marie Flowers of Gretna, La., and Sherlene Nance of Philadelphia; brothers Kern Agent of Denison, Texas and Keith Agent of Philadelphia; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held today from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
