PREP ROUNDUP: Enterprise falls 34-28 to Heidelberg High

Heidelberg High School scored the last 28 points of the game, including 22 in the final quarter, to take a 34-28 win over visiting Enterprise in Division 7-2A football action on Friday night.
Enterprise had built a 28-6 lead behind the passing of Wade Weathers and the running of Ike McKelvain.
EHS went up 7-0 in the first quarter when Weather hit Scott Mosley with a 48-yard scoring pass. Heidelberg responded with a 31-yard run by Wesley Terrell to cut it to 7-6 after one quarter of play.
The Bulldogs dominated the second quarter of action as Weather hit Mosley with a 46-yard scoring pass and McKelvain scored on a 4-yard run. Weathers hit both extra points to make it 21-6 at the half.
Enterprise, now 4-3 on the year, went up 28-6 on a 2-yard run by McKelvain.
But then the Oilers, also 4-3, began their comeback. Kendall Cooper scored on a 4-yard run to cut it to 28-12 after three quarters of play.
Cooper scored on runs of 4 and 1 in the fourth quarter and Darius Dear hauled in a 58-yard scoring pass from Raphael Jones. Jones also ran in a pair of two-point conversions in the final quarter.

Ross Brown rushed for three touchdowns and passed to Hunter Brown for three others to lead the Vikings of Central Academy to a 45-16 win over Strider Academy on Friday night.
Brown rushed for 240 yards on 29 carries to lead the 4-4 Vikings, while hitting on 5-of-10 passes for 72 more yards.
After Strider took an 8-0 lead on its first possession of the game, Central cut the lead to 8-6 after one quarter of play thanks to a 16-yard scoring pass from Ross Brown to Hunter Brown.
Ross Brown scored on a 3-yard run and Hunter Brown hauled in a 20-yard scoring pass to put the winners up 18-8 at the half.
A 5-yard scoring run by Ross Brown and the extra point by Matt Person put Central up 25-8, before Strider rallied to make it 25-16 after three quarters of play.
Ross Brown hit Hunter Brown with a 29-yard scoring pass early in the fourth quarter, then scored on a 49-yard run to culminate a 99-yard scoring drive.
The last touchdown came on a 98-yard interception return by Clint Brown. Hunter Brown and Cody Boykin also had interceptions for Central, while Clint Brown had eight tackles.
