Services for Octavia Lucille Brown will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home with the Revs. Clarence Tilghman and Alan Harwell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Infant Brown, of Meridian, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, in Meridian.
Survivors include her mother, Christina Shelby of Meridian; her father, Othell Brown Jr. of Daleville; sisters, Kristen Shelby, Ricquel Shelby and Tianna Shelby, all of Meridian; brothers, Gabe Shelby and Dontae Shelby of Meridian; her grandparents, Pam and Roger Shelby of Meridian, Othell Brown Sr. and Betty L. Brown of Daleville; great-grandparents, Catherine Hampton and Marcellous Hampton of Collinsville, Essie R. Brown of Daleville and Francis Blada of Meridian; and several other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

DEKALB Services for Mitchell Lampley will be held today at 1 p.m. at Bluff Springs Baptist Church in Preston with the Rev. Mearlon Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Chamberlin Cemetery in Preston. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lampley, 58, of Preston, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at Newton General Hospital in Covington, Ga.
Survivors include his sons, James P. Lampley and his wife, Gail, Samuel H. Lampley, Cassius Lampley and Diamon Lampley, all of Covington; a daughter, Destinee Lampley of Covington; brothers, Leonard Lampley of Birmingham, Ala. and Laymon Lampley of Preston; sisters, Lodie Kirkpatrick and Geraldine Eanes and her husband, James, all of Cleveland, Ohio; an aunt, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.
Retired
Services for John W. McCraw Jr. will be held today at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mike Boles, John Jacobs and C.A. Farmer officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. McCraw, 76, of Meridian, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired from Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a member of Evangel Temple and also was a Gideon.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth McCraw of Meridian; a daughter, Gina Laughlin and her husband, Carl, of Meridian; a son, Sanford McCraw and his wife, Suzie, of Meridian; grandchildren, Emily Laughlin, Elliot Laughlin and his wife, Larissa, Tyler McCraw and his wife, Donielle, and John David McCraw; a great-grandson, Mason McCraw; a sister, Mary Lou McLemore of Meridian; and a nephew, John McLemore of San Francisco.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. McCraw Sr.; a son, John W. "Bill" McCraw III; and an infant brother.
Pallbearers will be Tyler McCraw, Elliot Laughlin, Jerry Bratu, Tom Blalock, Don Bracken and Milton Lewis.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Alma L. Agent will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Revs. Winnie McMahon and Dewitt Bain officiating. Burial will be in Old Pearl Valley Cemetery in Philadelphia.
Mrs. Agent, 80, of Meridian, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, at Heartfelt Hospice in Meridian. She was a native of Winston County and a longtime resident of Meridian. She was a retired nurse's aide from East Mississippi State Hospital where she worked for more than 29 years. She was a member of West Hills Baptist Church in Meridian.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Agent Early and her husband, Jerald, of Meridian; sons, James Layton Agent and his wife, Rita Joyce, and Johnny Agent and his wife, Gloria, all of Meridian; a son-in-law, J.H. George of Bolton; her mother, Ina Adock of Carthage; grandchildren, Curtis Agent, Shonda Yates, Richard Agent and Scott Agent; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Veneal King of Carthage; and a brother, Wendell Manning of Germany.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; a daughter, Claudiette George; her father, John Manning; and a brother, Richard Manning.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
U.S. Army
Services for Manuel W. Dukes Sr. will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church with the Rev. James Granger officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Clark's Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dukes, 73, of Meridian, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Rosie Dukes of Meridian; sons, Willie Brewster of Detroit, Manuel Dukes Jr. and his wife, Denise, of Clinton, Md., and Jeff Reese Dukes of Meridian; daughters, Mary Fleming of Detroit, Rosalind Lanier and Melissa Grant and her husband, Eddie, all of Meridian; sisters, Almeta Bender of Gulfport and Juanita Dukes of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, Charlie Dukes and his wife, Katie, of Natchez; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Nevada Dukes; and two children.
Visitation will be Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
