The Wildcat Quarterback Club will raffle off a $100 gas gift certificate during Meridian High School's home football game against Oak Grove tonight.
Tickets for the raffle will be on sale during the game for $1 each. The winner will be announced after the third quarter.

Two Cougars reach 100
In their 31-30 Division 5-3A win over Morton, the Newton County Cougars had two players rush for over 100 yards.
Quarterback Colby Amis had 119 yards on 17 carries. He was also 9-of-12 passing for 82 yards and recorded eight tackles.
J.D. Skinner added 117 yards on seven carries with an 80-yard touchdown run to his credit.
Defensively, Damien Lampkin and Colton Mapp both had a dozen tackles, while Eddie Wilson had 10 for Newton County.

Union came up with six takeaways in its 52-6 blowout of Sebastopol. Jordan Robinson, Derrick Holliday, Quadarius Wallace, and Bobby Coleman each had an interception, while Robinson and Darron Thames both had a fumble recovery.
Union (7-0) hosts Thomastown today before taking on Scott Central (7-0) in a battle of unbeatens next week.

Okolona-Coldwater called due to injury
The Okolona-Coldwater football game last Friday was called with three minutes remaining and Coldwater leading 20-14 when Okolona junior linebacker Barry Gladney suffered an undisclosed injury.
Gladney was airlifted to the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, where he underwent tests to determine the extent of his injury.
Okolona head coach Andrew Aldridge told the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal that Gladney "was going to be all right," although it appeared he may have suffered shoulder damage.
Aldridge said Gladney was briefly unresponsive on the field after getting hurt.
