PHILADELPHIA Services for Russell Fulton will be held today at 3 p.m. at Lynville United Methodist Church with the Revs. Steve Lampkin and Kenny McGill officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Fulton, 88, of Preston, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, in Kemper County. He was born on Nov. 29, 1915, in the Preston Community of Kemper County to the late D.P. and Maggie Crocker Fulton. He attended Lynville High School and was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930's. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II, in the Hawaiian Islands.
After the war, he married Ethel Teer on Dec. 3, 1943. He was a trustee for 16 years at Lynville High School and for the Lynville United Methodist Church. He retired from the Kemper County Highway State Aid Road. He will be remembered as dedicated to his family, church and community.
Survivors include his sons, C. Ray Fulton and his wife, Margery, of Oxford and George Russell Fulton Jr. and his wife, Lynda, of Marietta, Ga.; a daughter, Peggy Ann Fulton of Athens, Ga.; three grandchildren, Rusty Fulton of Madison, Melissa Faircloth of Marietta and Chris Moore of Nashville, Tenn.; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Jackson of Forrest City, Ark., and Maggie Nell Gully of Preston; brothers, Prentiss Fulton of Smyrna, Tenn., and Homer Fulton of Preston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel of 58 years; a son, Thomas Clay Fulton; his parents and several siblings.

NEWTON Services for Wydell Buggs Rush will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Clifton Thornton and Mark McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Rush, 78, of Newton, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her son, Larry Rush and his wife, Jill, of Lawrence; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren; her mother, Bernice Buggs Leach of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sim Frank Rush; a grandson, Frankie Rush; her father, Walter Buggs and a brother, L.C. Buggs.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

CONCORDIA, Kan. Services for Mary Ann Widen will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dean R. Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Concordia.
Mrs. Widen, 83, of Concordia, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, in Concordia.
Survivors include her husband, Max Widen of Concordia; a son, Robert W. Widen and his wife, Sally, of Meridian; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank J. Hannum and Mary Alice Austin and a brother, William Hannum.
Memorials may be made to Frank Carlson Library or Cloud County Historical Museum.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
QUITMAN Services for Maria Guadalupe Elmore will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Stonewall with the Revs. Joe Gullick and Joey McGill officiating. Burial will be in East Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Elmore, of Quitman, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, in Quitman.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Elmore of Quitman; her mother, Odilia E. Jimenez of Corpus Christi, Texas; a step-son, Allen Elmore of Stonewall; step-daughters, Robin Cook of Carrolton, Ga., and Ashley Higginbotham of Theadville; a brother, Noe Jimenez of Austin, Texas; sisters, Diana Garza of Odessa, Texas and Odie Saenz of Corpus Christi, Texas; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Nicolas Jimenez Sr. and a brother, Nicolas Jimenez Jr.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the church and Wednesday, one hour prior to the service at the church.

ATLANTA Services for Miles F. Daly were held Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Patterson's Springs Hill Chapel. H.M. Patterson and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Daly, 77, of Atlanta, formerly of Meridian, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, in Atlanta. He was a 1950 graduate of the University of Alabama, where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He became the first Volkswagen automobile dealer in the State of Georgia, when founded Crane-Daly Volkswagen in 1959.
Survivors include his sons, Miles F. Daly Jr. and his wife, Maria Jaumot, of Alpharetta, Ga., Brock W. Daly and his wife, Tabitha, of Nashville, Tenn., and Charles Gray Daly of Atlanta; a daughter, Leigh Daly Longino and her husband, William T. of Cumming, Ga.; seven grandchildren; personal assistant for 42 years, Mattie Mae Boswell of Madison, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Barbara O'Leary Daly.

Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Charles Drinker, 72, of Russell, who died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Kathryn Owen, 83, of Meridian, who died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at Heartfelt Hospice.
