As hard as it is to believe, even as we type the words, the football regular season is nearing its end.
It seems like just last week that teams were buckling their chin straps for the start of fall practice, but now only three weeks remain before the 2004 playoffs begin. My, how the season has flown by!
As the saying goes, time flies when you're having fun. And the more you win, the more fun you have. Football teams in Franklin County have certainly done their share of winning this year.
The Red Bay Tigers have won 14 straight regular season games dating back to Week 4 of last season. They have risen to No. 3 in the Class 2A rankings.
