Board hopes to soon get state funds

At Friday's meeting of the Franklin county board of education, Superinten-dent Bill Moss said that he hopes the system will soon be receiving its share of state funds.
Moss said that he hopes that the state will be able to allocate the Section 16 money that is promised to the system in the next few months. He also said that the board will allow bids to be placed on cutting some timber that the system owns in the East Franklin community that would bring in an additional $500,000.
More state funds may also be on the way.
