QUITMAN Graveside services for Carrie Lee Carmichael will be held today at 11 a.m. at Center Ridge Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Manning officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Carmichael, 91, of Quitman, died Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, at Golden Meadows Specialty Care in Quitman.
Survivors include her step-sons, Oscar Carmichael and Burt Carmichael and his wife, Shelby, all of Carmichael; sisters, Mary Griffith and Annie Odom, both of Langsdale; 10 step-grandchildren; 21 step-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren; nieces, Doris Hales and Margaret Griffith, both of Langsdale; nephews, Parker Griffith and Wibbon Odom, both of Langsdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin W. Carmichael and two step-children; Jack Carmichael and Eloise Hales.

Services for Theodore Roosevelt Jones will be held today at 2 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church in Quitman with the Rev. Advail McKenzie officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Scott, 95, of Quitman, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at Heartfelt Hospice.
Survivors include his daughters, Mary Scott and Elnora Joseph, both of Springvalley, N.Y.; sons, Robert Jones of New City, N.Y., Willie Jones of Springvalley, Henry Jones of Quitman and Leroy Jones of Birmingham, Ala.; three sisters; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for Lenice O. Nix will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jesse Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
Mrs. Nix, 93, of Quitman, died Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her sons, Marshall Nix and Affard Earl Nix, both of Quitman, Earnest Nix of Jackson, Ga., Maxie Nix of Silas and Marvin Nix of Griffin, Ga.; a daughter, Opal Nix Bentley of San Diego; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Richard Eggleston Wilbourn II will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Rhett Payne officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wilbourn, 67, of Meridian, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Deanna A. Wilbourn of Meridian; a son, Richard E. Wilbourn III and his wife, Victoria, of Jackson; daughters, Elizabeth W. Williamson and her husband, Russell, and Garnett W. Hutton and her husband, Tom, all of Memphis, Tenn.; granddaughters, Sophi Wilbourn and Deanna Wilbourn, of Jackson, Caroline Williamson and Garnett Hutton and Callie Hutton, both of Memphis; a grandson, Russell Williamson Jr. of Memphis; a sister, Margaret W. Vise and her husband, Dr. Guy T. Vise Jr. of Jackson; and a brother, James G. Wilbourn and his wife, Jane, of Clarksdale.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Cox Wilbourn and Garnett Sturdivant Wilbourn of Meridian.
Visitation will be today from 4:30 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Services for Margaret Grant will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Raymon Leake officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Grant, 83, of Meridian, died Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home.
Visitation will be Wednesday from noon – 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

DEKALB Services for Carroll A. Brown Sr. will be held Wednesday at noon at Mt. Salem Baptist Church in Preston with the Rev. Darryl Rush officiating. Burial will be in Maryland V.A. Memorial Cemetery in Baltimore. E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Brown, 78, of Preston, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004, at the V.A. Hospital in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Lovell Reed Brown of Preston; children, Carroll A. Brown Jr. and his wife, Priscilla, and Gregory Brown and his wife, Louann, all of Bryans Road, Md., Cheryl Watson of New Carrolton, Md., Michael Brown and Penny Williams, both of Houston, Texas, Carol Ann Edmonds and her husband, John, of Stone Mountain, Ga., Collette Brown of Birmingham, Ala., Sabrina Williams of Los Angeles; a sister, Helen Butler of Cheltenham, Md.; a brother, Michael Leo Brown and his wife, Elosie of Upper Marlboro, Md., seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Services for Thomas Blizzard will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Jimmy Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Blizzard, 88, of Marion, died Monday, Oct. 25, 2004, at Guardian Angel Hospice in Meridian.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
