Jones and East Central will wrap up the 2004 regular season Thursday night when they tangle in an MACJC South Division contest at Decatur. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
The teams have equally divided the last four meetings.
Jones comes into the fray with a 6-2 overall record and a 3-2 division mark. The Bobcats' two losses were to unbeaten Pearl River and once-beaten Hinds.
ECCC is 4-4 overall and 2-3 in league play. Three of ECCC's four losses have been to Pearl River, Hinds and once-beaten Northwest. A win would give the Warriors their first winning season since 2001.
Jones is averaging 27.1 points and giving up 18.9.
ECCC dropped a 21-10 contest at Hinds, while Jones beat Copiah-Lincoln 30-19 in last week's games.

No matter what happens on Thursday, East Mississippi Community College isn't going home empty-handed.
The Lions (1-7) tallied their first victory of the season a week ago, a 28-19 win over Coahoma Community College, to avoid a winless record in head coach Roger Carr's first campaign.
Closing out the season with another win is the goal for East Mississippi in its upcoming season finale at Northeast Mississippi Community College, but that task will prove far more difficult than it did against Coahoma. The Tigers handed Northwest Mississippi Community College its first loss of the season on Thursday and helped Northeast avoid a three-game losing streak.
Northeast will have plenty of incentive to avoid a letdown, as a win against East Mississippi would give the Tigers the North Division title.
East Mississippi will be matched up against a familiar offensive scheme. Northeast runs a spread formation similar to the Lions' offense. Running back Abe Felix, quarterback Brooks Dampeer and a host of 300-pounders on both lines will give the Lions plenty to worry about.
Carr said East Mississippi will counter by doing what it finally did so well a week ago the little things.
