One county church hopes to give a glimpse of what the "judgment seat" of Christ might be like during a presentation this weekend.
Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, located in the East Franklin community, will be hosting its annual Judgment House Oct. 30 through Nov. 2. The Judgment House coincides with Halloween each year and is put on by members of the church who hope to show what it may be like when we die.
In the past, the presentation has shown various scenes from the time that someone dies in an automobile accident to the time they go before the Lord.
This year, the presentation will focus more on the judgment.
The Judgment House, which has been produced by the church for several years, has been popular with church youth groups and people from all across the county.
The Judgment House will open Saturday at 6:30 p.m. There will also be presentations on Sunday at 4 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday, both nights at 6:30 p.m.
Pleasant Hill is located on Highway 81 about one mile past East Franklin Junior High School. There is no charge for admission.
