Lorine Bostick Bullen, Sarah Roberta Cochran Wood

Lorine Bostick Bullen, age 98, of Madison, passed away Monday, October 25, 2004, at Madison Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Bullen was formerly of Red Bay and was a native of Itawamba County, Mississippi. She was a housewife and a member of First United Methodist Church in Red Bay.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2004, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Mike Sparks officiating. Interment was in Red Bay City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Bostick, Hal Keeton, Brooks Davis and Butch Keeton.
Mrs. Bullen is survived by a son, Bill Bullen and wife Bonnie, of Decatur; a daughter, Carolyn Spearman of Huntsville; a sister, Elwa Tiffin of Iuka, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Karen Bullen, Carol Bullen, and Joe Spearman and wife Eliza; two great-grandchildren, Carolanne Spearman and Betsy Spearman; and several nieces and nephews.
Deaton Funeral Home assisted the family.
Sarah Roberta Cochran Wood, age 88, of Haleyville, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2004, at her residence.
Mrs. Wood was a retired high school math teacher, having graduated from Huntington College in Montgomery. She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Haleyville, where she belonged to United Methodist Women. She also belonged to Delta Kappa Gamma and 20th Century Study Club. Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Robert Presley Cochran and Sarah Ethel DeBardeleben Cochran; and a sister, Mary Alice Northcutt.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2004, at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with Bro. John Simmons and Bro. Terry Bentley officiating. Interment was in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Wood is survived by her husband, Dr. John Edwin Wood; a daughter, Pat Windham of Tallahassee, Florida; a son, Robert Wood of Haleyville; and five grandchildren, Cindy Karlson, Phillip Windham, Jonathan Windham, Katie Wood and John Robert Wood.
Pinkard Funeral Home assisted the family.
