Homemakers celebrate 20th show

The Homemakers Arts &Crafts Show and Sale celebrates 20 years of creativity and originality this year.
The event is Saturday from 9 a.m.n5 p.m. and Sunday from noonn5 p.m. at the Frank Cochran Center in Highland Park. Admission is 50 cents.
More than 80 booths of exhibitors are expected. Vegetable soup, chili, and other homemade goodies will also be available.
The following is a list of the artists and craftsmen who will have a large array of handmade items on sale. Many of the items are one-of-a-kind.
Diane Archie: Ceramic Santas, snowmen ornaments and other pieces, oil lamps, hand painted glass, wood and cloth.
Frances Blackmon: Machine embroidered items, shirts and baby items.
Mary Borntrager: Homemade baked goods, breads, cakes, cookies, pies, rolls and nut bread. Some wood crafts.
