Abernathy caught six passes for 98 yards and three touchdowns on Friday in the Golden Tigers' 42-0 rout of Colbert County. The 5-foot-11, 222-pound fullback broke a scoreless tie in the second quarter with touchdown receptions of 9 and 43 yards. He later scored on a 29-yard catch-and-run. Abernathy finished the regular season as the area's leading receiver with 44 catches for 618 yards and 13 touchdowns.
