UNION Services for Katherine Miley Jenkins will be held today at 2 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. O.A. Robbins, Joe May and Daniel Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Church of God Cemetery.
Mrs. Jenkins, 72, of Union, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include her son, Bragston Miley of Union; step-daughters, Nauwausa Shoemake and Billie Ann Ishee, both of Petal; grandchildren, Bryan Miley of Gautier, Brent Miley of South Haven and Blake Miley of Union; step-grandchildren, Jessica Grimes, Jennifer Byrd of Mobile, Ala., Ryan Ishee, Blake Simon and Bret Ishee, all of Petal; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Arthur of Deer Park, Texas, and Beadie Bone of Petal; brothers, the Rev. F.J. May of Cleveland, Tenn. and N.T. May of Petal.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Emmit Miley and Bill Jenkins.
Pallbearers will be Rex Miley, Royce Miley, Max Gunn, Ray Bone, Norman Hogan and Aaron Goss. Honorary pallbearers will be the Rev. Joe May, the Rev. Daniel Richardson, Willie McNair and Judge Marcus Gordon.
Disabled veteran
Services for Robert F. Sanders will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Snell Church of God with the Revs. James Fleming, Michael Boles and Chaplain Pam Randall officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sanders, 73, of the Causeyville Community, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, in his home. He was born and raised in Clarke County and moved to Causeyville in 1957. He was an avid turkey hunter and an active member of Snell Church of God. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Okinawa from 1952-1955. He will be remembered as one who served the Lord and loved his family with all of his heart.
Survivors include his wife of almost 50 years, Sylvia Sanders of Causeyville; daughters, Janet Culpepper of Toomsuba and Debbie Holyfield of Causeyville; his sons-in-law, Mike Culpepper of Toomsuba and Dale Holyfield of Causeyville; grandchildren, John Culpepper and his wife, Patricia, of Lauderdale, Brooke Culpepper of Toomsuba, Lance Holyfield and his wife, Christy, of Jackson and Lane Holyfield of Causeyville; great-grandchildren, Jaley and Hallie Culpepper of Lauderdale; and a sister, Erma Pewitt of Nunnelly, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by is parents, Rob and Ruth Sanders; brothers, Clarence Becton, Cladis Becton, and Harmon, Clyde and Bill Sanders; and a nephew, Rob Sanders.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Hospice South.
Pallbearers will be Randall Graham, Franklin Hayes, Lynn Culpepper, Ronnie Reed, Spencer Smith and the Rev. Bernece Fleming.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Edna Fortner Lockhart will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Collinsville with the Revs. Curt Pace and Jay Parker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lockhart, 89, of Chipley, Fla., formerly of Collinsville, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, in her home.
Survivors include her son, Kenn Dansby and his wife, Bonnie, of Chipley; grandchildren, Kimbraly Freeman and her husband, Greg, of Meehan, Michelle Periko and her husband, Wayne, of Deland, Mitch Dansby of Ormond Beach, Frank Kirkland and his wife, Tanya, of Headland, Ala., and Hillary Kirkland of Chipley; a brother, Glenn Fortner and his wife, Dot, of Toomsuba; a sister, Faye Melton and her husband, Mel, of Bonifay; a sister-in-law, Martha Fortner of Savannah, Ga.; great-grandsons, Justin and Brycen Periko of Deland, Clayton Dansby of Ormond Beach, Daniel Freeman of Meehan and Dilan and Shelby Kirkland of Headland; several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Lockhart; her parents, Lealon and Irene Fortner; a sister, Margaret Wesley; and brothers, Vance Fortner and Lloyd Fortner.
Pallbearers will be Greg Freeman, Huey Freeman, Jerry Harwell, Bill Pace and Joe Pace.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

BUTLER, Ala. Services for Joyce Roberts Motley will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Bonner officiating. Burial will be in Old Lusk Cemetery in Toxey.
Mrs. Motley, 64, of Gilbertown, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, in her home.
Survivors include her sons, Marlon R. Lucus of Toxey and Harlon Lucus of Norfolk, Va.; a step-son, Lawson Lofton "Buddy" Motley of Loxley; daughters, Anna Daugherty and her husband, "Opie," and Tuouida Lucus, all of Womach Hill; brothers, Wade Roberts of Butler and Dane Roberts of Mosley Bridge; sisters, Patricia Mosley of Toxey, June Mundy of Butler and Marcelete Hurtt of Choctaw; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
