Leanna McLaughlin and Brian Whitley, both of Meridian, were married on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, at Highland Baptist Church with the Rev. Kurt Gross officiating.
Parents of the couple are Rose McLaughlin and James and Micki McLaughlin, all of Meridian, and the late Jesse and Eloise Whitley.
Grandparents of the bride are James and Jewel Davidson of Meridian, and the late Jack and June McLaughlin of Dallas.
Music for the ceremony was the recorded song, "The Prayer."
The bride was given in marriage by the bride's father.
Maid of honor was Karissa McLaughlin of Meridian.
Ed Knittle of Milan, Tenn., was best man.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Jewel Davidson, Caroline Kimrey, Grace Kimrey, Kelsey McLaughlin and Heather McLaughlin and Penny Kimrey.
The couple resides in Oxford.
