Travelers passing by Russellville High School Saturday night may think that they have slipped back in time.
The RHS band parents association will be hosting a 70's dance to raise money for the Marching Hundred. Guests are encouraged to wear 1970s-style clothing and be prepared for one thing: to have a good time.
The dance was originally going to be held just for the parents, Seal said.
Seal joked that the parents were switching roles with their children for this dance.
The dance will begin at 7 p.m. in the RHS Fine Arts building and will have some familiar faces providing the talent. A group of band parents, school administrators and RHS students have come together to form a band.
The band consists of Ryan Bradford, Gary McNutt, Paula Lindsey, Renee James, Tim Townley, Dan Terry and Emily Honey.
Most music will be from the 1970s, although there will be a few country selections as well.
All proceeds raised from the $5 admission charge will go directly to the band program.
