Tiffany Cannon named advertising director for FCT

By Staff
Tiffany Cannon has been named advertising director of The Franklin County Times and ClassifiedsPLUS.
Cannon comes to The Times after three years with the The Clanton Advertiser, where she worked in advertising sales. Both The Times and The Advertiser are part of the Boone organization.
A 2003 graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in journalism, Cannon said she's excited by the opportunities in Franklin County.
"I look forward to working with the staff here at The Times and the businesses in the community," Cannon said.
A native of Cullman, Cannon began her newspaper career as a sports writer in Clanton before joining the sales staff.
"I like writing but I love sales," she said. "There is nothing more satisfying than hearing a customer say their newspaper ad helped increase business or got a lot of attention."
Cannon began full-time employment in Russellville yesterday. Tiffany is the wife of Jason Cannon, The Times publisher. The couple has 2-year-old daughter, Lizzie, and expect to move to Russellville soon.
