Russellville Police are currently investigating a robbery and sexual assault that took place at a local business Wednesday evening.
A 25-year-old woman reported that she was leaving a Cash Advance, located in the shopping center at the intersection of Highways 43 and 24, Police Chief Chris Hargett said.
The woman reported that she was forced into the business at gunpoint where the robbery took place, then forced her behind the building where the sexual assault occurred, Hargett said.
Russellville Police continued their investigation Thursday, however, no suspects have been named as of press time.
