Lady Bulldogs roll to rout of Colbert Heights

Kellie Oliver had 16 points and Mary Billingham added 15 on Monday as Belgreen's girls won their third straight game, cruising past Colbert Heights 60-34.
The Lady Bulldogs (5-3) got off to a fast start, leading 19-4 at the end of the first quarter. They stretched the lead to 32-12 by halftime.
Keri Metcalf and Deborah Billingham each added eight points for Belgreen, and Amy Smith had six.
Jasmine Freeman led Colbert Heights with 18 points.
Belgreen will return to action on Friday at home against county rival Red Bay.

Lucas Albert led the Bulldogs with 10 points in Monday's loss.
Colbert Heights led by three at halftime before out-scoring Belgreen 14-9 in the third quarter.
Justin Barnes led the Wildcats with 14 points.
Michael Wilson added eight points for the Bulldogs (4-4), and Kyle Warren and Justin Gardner each had six.
Belgreen will host county rival Red Bay on Friday.

Chelsey McWilliams had 16 points and seven rebounds, but it wasn't enough as the Lady Tigers fell to Belmont (MS) last Friday at the Belmont Classic.
Britan Bolding added 13 points, including three three-pointers, for Red Bay. Brittany Scott had 10 points, and Morgan Duncan finished with eight.
Red Bay led 18-16 after one quarter, but Belmont took control by out-scoring the Lady Tigers 20-4 in the second quarter.
